/ our ethos
Beginning as a personal journey, elsewhere is rooted in curiosity, a love of nature and a lifelong obsession with skincare.
Following years of research and with a deep respect for the natural world, elsewhere is committed to creating skincare that nourishes, restores, and reconnects.
The elsewhere range is steadily growing, but our values will remain. Regeneration, sustainability, and holistic care guide every decision we make.
/ founder
Born and raised in the quiet landscapes of Lincolnshire, our founder Lynsey has always been closely connected to the natural world.
From making face masks with tomatoes and egg whites as a child to caring for rescued owls and badgers, and later exploring creativity through filmmaking and visual arts, Lynsey has always followed an instinctive, expressive path - guided by a belief that there’s a better, more beautiful way to care for ourselves and the planet.
elsewhere is the result: a slow, thoughtful, and deeply personal alternative to fast beauty.
/ the process
Our approach to skincare is simple but deeply considered. Each product is crafted in small batches, blending the finest natural and organic ingredients with design-led minimalism.
Drawing inspiration from time-honoured botanical traditions, we believe that true care is as much about intention as it is about results.
We see skincare as a quiet ritual, a way to slow down and honour the connection between self and environment. Thoughtfully made, gently powerful.
/ why elsewhere?
“In the corner of an antique shop many years ago, I was drawn to a book of essays, 'The Voices of Time’ - a meditation of the meaning of time through the lenses of science and the humanities.
One concept resonated deeply with me. Space-time divided into three regions: future, past and elsewhere. I loved the idea that there exists a place outside of the future and the past - elsewhere”. Lynsey Allett.
For us, elsewhere is more than a brand name. It’s a philosophy. A quiet rebellion against urgency. A call to step away from the noise and reconnect with ourselves, with nature, and with what really matters.
We’d rather be elsewhere. Maybe you would too.
